Lemon
Bars
1 Lemon Cake Mix.
¼ cup Butter or Margarine
1 Egg.
Topping
1 Can Lemon Frosting
8oz. Cream Cheese
1 Egg.
1 Cup chopped Pecans – optional.
Combine Cake Mix, Butter and Egg
until creamy
Reserve 1 cup mixture for the topping and press remaining into
13 x 9 pan.
Mix together the Lemon Frosting,
Cream Cheese and Egg on high speed until smooth. (Mix in the
nuts)
Spread mixture over cake and then sprinkle reserved cake mixture
over the cream.
Bake at 350 degrees until the edges are light brown and the center is firm. Cool completely and refrigerate
